Integrator of Storage Systems, Application Engineering and Civil and Electrical Installation using Tier 1 suppliers of Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries and high-tech PCS and EMS solutions. Our solutions are used for power backup in case of grid failure, combined with arbitrage solutions, i.e., choosing the best consumption tariff and reducing demand. We have solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications, and large-scale applications both before and after the meter.
EVENERGY’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), whether for before-the-meter (FTM) or after-the-meter (BTM) applications within a hybrid concept, result in a versatile and economical solution that increases energy efficiency by leveraging renewable generation sources, resulting in a robust, stable and reliable system from an electrical point of view.
The solutions range from large systems to be installed on the grid (FTM) to residential, commercial and industrial applications (BTM) within a hybrid concept that combines various energy sources that are able to meet the different operational needs of the electricity sector. This efficient system provides stability and reliability of the energy supply and, in addition to its BACKUP function, performs voltage and frequency regulation and control, supplies critical ancillary services, supports reserve capacity, reduces contracted peak demand and consumption and arbitration.
Residential batteries can serve as a backup in the event of power outages or, when combined with a solar generation system, they can store all or part of the energy generated, avoiding the taxes and Fio B tariffs typical of DG II projects, thus improving the return on investment and giving more independence from the distributor’s grid (Zero Grid).
In the event of Reverse Flow, the batteries can accumulate the energy generated, avoiding injection into the grid, thus making the projects viable.
In agribusiness, EVENERGY’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), combined with a photovoltaic generation system, can accumulate energy throughout the day and enable irrigation activities at night, avoiding the effect of accelerated water evaporation, increasing the efficiency of the process by up to 40%.
The batteries are capable of having daily recharge cycles and a useful life of over 15 years, thus offering an excellent return on investment.
In the commercial and industrial market, EVENERGY’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) has several applications, such as emergency backup (combined or not with a diesel generator), operation disconnected from the Distributor (Zero Grid, reducing taxes and charges on the B wire) or a hybrid format with a Micro Solar Power Plant. The system also makes it possible to reduce contracted demand and energy use at peak times. All management is carried out by the system’s existing automation, adding a high level of monitoring.
In pre-meter applications, the air- or water-cooled Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) has relevant applications such as grid balancing, optimizing intermittent generation (solar and wind, for example), improving and controlling voltage and frequency levels, as well as emergency backup, arbitrage and MicroGrid.
Common to any electricity consumer, the batteries will power the installation's essential equipment in the event of a power failure on the utility grid.
The battery allows residential consumers (B1, B2 and B3) to adhere to the White Tariff, charging energy in the Off-Peak period and avoiding consumption at the most expensive times (Intermediate and Peak), reducing costs. For those with local generation, the battery optimizes surpluses, avoiding cuts from the distributor, especially for GDII customers, who can have up to 50% deduction in credits. Instead of exporting all the energy generated, the system prioritizes storage, ensuring greater savings.
Battery, making it possible to install a photovoltaic generation system that has not been approved by the Distributor on the grounds of flow inversion or charging high connection fees. It offers consumers the option of having their own generation and storage system in OFF GRID mode, i.e. without exporting surpluses to the grid and thus not needing formal approval from the Distributor.
It offers the possibility of reducing the amount of contracted demand, especially for customers with a binomial tariff or customers on the free energy market.
